- 300-mile touring weekend coming up - Labor Day Weekend we are holding a 3-Stage tour consisting of 100-mile stages on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This will be a very demanding 3-day, 3-stage event. Stage 1, Saturday will be a flat tour starting at Kreager Park. Stage 2, Sunday will be a very hilly tour from Huntertown through Angola around Jimmerson Lake and looping back. This tour includes more rolling hills than we are accustom to in our area. It’s not as formable as the Hilly Hundred, however, the 2,000 feet of vertical climb will be challenging. Due to road construction we have created a detour that will subtract about 200 feet of climbing. Details and ride maps can be found here.
- The St. Joe Century - Something for everyone - The St. Joe Century will be the grand finale for the 3RVS Century Weekend. On Labor Day, September 4, the ride will feature a loop style route with distance options of 18, 25, 32, 50, 63. 75 and 100 miles (whew!) All loops are well marked and will start and end at the St. Joe Church of Christ. There will be a full sag and lunch at the church with lots of home baked cookies. Rumors are going around about some kind of cold treat at the end. Meet at the church at 508 Jefferson St., St. Joe, Indiana for a 9 AM start. The ride is open to all and there is no registration or fee.
3RVS rides follow our Official Group Riding Guidelines. An abbreviated set of the Guidelines will be on the back side of the weekend ride maps. The complete, unabridged guidlines can be found under the Information tab above, or by clicking on this link.
