Three Rivers Festival Tour Thanks
Written by Luis deVeyra
cindy, cindy, Kyle & KyraA great 39th annual 3RVS tour was hopefully had by all. We had close to 300 riders. Churubusco sag stop had many visitors and no complaints. Rider safety was 100% on the road. A few rough patches out on the white route but the hills almost made one forget them. Sag drivers were unusually attentive, but they were out there.

Registration was real busy for couple hours. Dave and Deb spent more time and money in Meijers than I will all year and thanks for setting up and unsetting up Churubusco Sag. Phil and Earnie and unknown others did a good job planning and marking route. Steve P. and Kathy Boling (nice t-shirts) did a great job with forms and maps. To all the volunteers, thanks for all the time, ideas, suggestions, and work.

Thanks Redi Bike for free bike adjustments, Summit City Bicycle & Fitness for the gift certificates and Cindy W. for obtaining them. Thanks Meijers for their donation.

The usual suspects are ever involved; Dave Lehman and Deb Beyer for obtaining food/drinks and setting up the sag, Phil Snider for planning route and marking it, Eanie Williamson, Rich Swihart, Steve Pequignot and Greg Duncan for roving sag. Mike & Jo Sienk, Dave Shaw, Randy Armstrong, Francie McComb, Keith & Sue Tumbleson, John & Leslie Davis and Jim Bailey were the SAG stop volunteers. Jane Lewandowski, Lynette Mankey, Luke Ballenger, Cheryl Matthews, & Cindy Wolfer were the registration crew. Thanks Jane for the mentoring on registration duties. Thanks Michael Heyes for festival website management.

May all our rides be so nice.

Thanks, Luis deVeyra
